Grant Creek Excavating (GCE) was founded in 2005 and works with commercial, government, residential and infrastructure contracts.

The operating equipment consists of primarily Caterpillar machinery as well as the compaction tools associated with safe and proper earthwork practices.

The company employs over 7 laborers, foreman and managers whose mission is to serve their clients with quality excavation at a competitive price, making the experience of dealing with Grant Creek Excavating a positive one.

About Us

Steve Schardt is the General Manager for Grant Creek Excavating. He owned and operated Schardt Construction for 10 years in Washington, before moving to Montana.

Using reliable, modern equipment and well trained employees, Steve promises that each and every client will always receive the professional service and excellence in excavation.

Grant Creek Excavating offers excavation services ranging from demolition to site improvements, site clearing and disposal, mass grading, hauling services, soil stabilization, site preparation for building pads, parking lots and landscaped areas, basement excavation and backfilling, structural excavation, rock excavation, and finish grading work.
